Construction Estimating/Sales

Job Purpose

Estimating and sales of  commercial/industrial metal roof and wall panels/systems. 


Duties:

*Work closely with manufacturer’s representatives to sell products.

*Maintain and expand existing customer database.

*Determines quotation requirements by interviewing customer; referring to customer account information.

* Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

* Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

* Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

* Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

* Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.

*Verifies customer's understanding of quotation by explaining components and charges.

* Accepts order by entering information into sales database.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
