Summary: Responsible for quality assurance, construction inspection, project oversight, payment application review, quantity tracking, specification requirements, and code violations. Will also interact with materials testing personnel and the contractor’s superintendent on both vertical (buildings) and horizontal (civil projects-roads, water, etc.) projects.

 

Qualifications:  

HS Graduate. Technical training or schooling a plus. 

Minimum 2-5 years of construction inspection. 

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications for the construction project. 

Ability to speak fluent English. Spanish speaking  - a plus.

Math proficiency to include geometry and trigonometry.

Must have understanding of construction means and methods and intent of the drawings and specifications.

Certificates: Materials to include concrete, steel and earthwork.
