POSITION SUMMARY:Manage implementation of corporate Construction Standards for Supermarket PetroleumProvide training to Facility Engineering personnel to ensure appropriate knowledge of fuel related constructionReview proposed development of all fueling facilities with division and regional personnel for compliance with corporate standardsProvide guidance, direction, and recommendations to Facility Engineering and Division Operations personnel regarding construction, operation, and maintenance of retail fueling facilities

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

·  Provide classroom and field training for qualification of division facility engineering personnel assigned to handle the construction of fueling facilities

·  Review preliminary site plan drawings and cost estimates for all proposed fueling facilities, and provide recommendations for approval

·  Review project documents for compliance with company standards and provide recommendations for solutions to site specific issues

·  Assist Supermarket Petroleum Group (SPG) with development and maintenance of company standards of construction

·  Maintain liaison with equipment suppliers

·  Prepare department reports as required

·  Provide environmental compliance recommendations as required

·  Maintain effective communication with all company personnel

·  Maintain professional and effective communication with all consultants, equipment vendors, contractors, and service providers

·  Perform other functions as assigned

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction ManagementExperience in the construction of retail fueling facilities will be consideredKnowledge of architectural and construction practices and procedures with specific detailed knowledge of practices and procedures related to construction of retail fueling facilitiesAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsKnowledge of P-Net system, Microsoft Word and Excel software, and Autodesk TrueView softwareAttention to detail and the ability to anticipate coordination issues between consultants, governmental agencies, contractors, and vendorsExcellent verbal and written communication skills
