Construction Project Engineer / Estimator

 I am presently seeking individuals to interview for a full-time position. This is a project engineer/estimator position with a well-established commercial/residential roofing, siding, insulation, window, and sheet metal contractor that is located in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs. 
 

 Some of the tasks that are involved include:

·  Quantity take-offs

·  Pricing

·  Purchase orders

·  Submittals

·  Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers

·  Proposals

·  Attending coordination meetings

·  Creating Shop Drawings

 

Some of the requirements I am seeking include:

·  B.S. in math, construction management, or other related field

·  Strong communication skills

·  Strong computer skills

·  Able to read Blueprints

·  Self-starter

·  AutoCad
