Construction Project Manager

Position Title:

Project / Construction Manager

 

Position Description:

Assist the company in the management of the field staff by performing a variety of tasks for the construction of timber bridges nationwide.  Daily communication with field staff to monitor work progress, travel to job sites, create/ maintain system for material and equipment procurement, scheduling, and some hands-on construction ability.

 

Major duties and responsibilities: Ability to travel within the United States (approx. 20-25%) Manage all inventory of equipment and materials on project sites Manage repairs/ maintenance on all equipment on project sites Project scheduling and follow up Maintain client communication/ coordination on project sites Manage/ maintain/ analyze/ report on production rates for each project

 

Position Details:

Availability (Spring 2008)

Full time, permanent

Candidate requirements: Civil/ structural engineering schooling and/or construction aptitude Strong math skills Some knowledge of AutoCAD Proficient with MS Office software Good organizational skills Prior management experience a plus
