Construction Project Manager & Construction Project Engineer

An exciting and aggressive Multifamily General Contractor is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking construction project managers and construction project engineers for projects in the Seattle Washington area, and in the Portland, Oregon area.

 

Qualified Project Manager candidates will possess the following:Motivated self-starter Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills, with solid knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and Project Knowledge of principles, practices, and codes for residential construction Minimum of 5 years experience managing construction projects Thorough knowledge of construction methods -such as estimating, scheduling and management of subcontractors

 

The Project Manager position will be responsible for performing a variety of duties, including the following:

 Preparing scopes of work Managing the construction bidding process Oversight of subcontractors Preparing monthly project status reports Developing and monitoring the budget for the individual projects Coordinating schedules and monitoring works in progress Monthly draw requests, submitted to the owner of the project for payment Value Engineering

 

As a Project Manager for a General Contractor you must be willing to work with the Multi-Family Subcontractor community as well as City and County Engineers.

 

Qualified Project Engineer candidates will posses the following:

·  Motivated self-starter

·  Willingness to learn, ability to follow directions

·  Experience in the construction industry or degree in construction management

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
