Construction Project Manager/Estimator

Estimates jobs for the purpose of ensuring accurate budgeting resulting in profitable jobs.  Defining all details of labor/materials.Ensuring project compliance/equality of bids.Negotiating/finalizing pricing with sub-contractors.Obtaining answers from architect before bid day, and bringing any unresolved issues to review prior to bidding project.

Manages jobs for the purpose of monitoring budgets, timelines, and scope, and continually communicating these things to the customer/owner. Obtaining necessary permits, sales tax exemption certificates, Davis Bacon paperwork, etc. to ensure project start date.Reviewing contract Providing a detailed project schedule created with, and/or reviewed with, field and project superintendent in a timely manner.Obtaining and executing change orders for Project. Keeping Field and Project Superintendent aware of all pending and approved change orders.Providing pay estimates Becoming proactive and managing four weeks ahead of the Field and Project Superintendent.Visiting work sites on a regular basis to monitor progress, make adjustments, and re-define scope.Providing pay estimate breakdown to architect within one week of contract award.Providing updated construction agenda, schedule and meeting notes for each construction meeting twice a month.
