Construction Superintendent/Chief Inspector

Assists project management with all on site construction functions in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Company. Performs non-routine assignments and draws upon knowledge to select and adapt procedures to meet needs. Serves as Lead and is responsible for directing the work of less experienced. Works under moderate supervision. Technical/Functional Responsibilities: · Supervises site personnel· Manages project budgets· Monitors performance and utilization; provides periodic projects· Functions as liaison between engineering and construction sites· Responsible for constructability and construction planning during engineering phase· Conducts materials testing and analysis, using tools and equipment and applying technical knowledge necessary to conduct tests· Prepares reports detailing tests conducted and results· Inspects field fabrication piping sub assemblies· Inspects structural steel welds, connectors, braces, assemblies and finishes· Inspects module fabrication to determine conformance of modules to design specifications· May require certification for radiography, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant examinations to support NDE requirements Qualified candidates may apply at www.jacobs.com job number: IRC 9619
