Construction Supervisor

The New York County District Attorney's Office seeks a construction supervisor to work in its Facilities Management Unit.  Candidates must possess the following:  A high school diploma or equivalent; three (3) years of hands-on construction supervisory experience; valid New York State driver's license with satisfactory driving record; excellent communication and problem solving skills.  Ability to be deadline and detail oriented a must.  Knowledge of PC and software applications a plus.  Ability to work flexible hours including weekends; work overtime on short notice essential.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction staff.  Examine and evaluate work progress; provide daily reports to management.  Serve as liaison with management, vendors, private contractors and government agencies to resolve issues on work related matters.  Ensure that project deadlines are met.  Responsible for safety and quality of work performed.  Perform related tasks.
