Construction and Maintenance Manager

 

The Worsley Operating Corporation Construction and Maintenance Managers’ role is to lead, manage, and supervise all construction, installation, repair and maintenance, upgrades, re-imaging or re-branding, planned capital developments and/or improvements, and general facility quality improvement and upkeep projects.

 

This includes reporting on all routine repair and maintenance activities, all environmental compliance needs, special construction and/or petroleum improvement projects, as well as incorporating preventative maintenance activities.  As well as supervise and participate in any maintenance, construction or petroleum needs.

 

The Construction and Maintenance Manager will report officially to the President and C.F.O., V.P. of Operations, V.P. of Retail Marketing, and/or the Director of Petroleum Pricing and Supply.

 

The ultimate goal of successfully managing our company’s construction, maintenance, and facility upkeep or remodel projects is to assure high quality work is performed.  This includes ensuring efficiencies in costs and projected approval of costs submitted is adhered to.  That our facility quality meets or exceeds those of our nearby competitors from both a customer standpoint as well as meets or exceeds any governmental authority, local, state, or municipal statutes.

 

The Construction and Maintenance Manager will have a maintenance coordinator who reports directly to him/her as well as will be responsible for supervising both the quality and the efficiency of existing service technicians (currently there are 5).

 

The Construction and Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for coordinating all vendors for use as our needs necessitate and negotiate, establish, enforce, and inspect agreed upon work to be performed, quality of work performed, as well as cost of works performed should meet our agreed upon and negotiated costs.

 

Additionally, the Construction and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all in-house and technician truck inventory of parts, tools, vehicles, and upkeep for persons working within his/her department.
