Edison is in need of a talented and motivated Controls Engineers and Project Engineers to help grow our business.
Candidates will be electrical engineers with SCADA, IT, PC or PLC based controls, Drive Systems, Operator Interfaces, and Instrumentation experience. Responsibilities include quoting, design, programming, installation, and/or project management.
Project Engineers act as technical lead on large projects and must be able to organize work for multiple projects and work unsupervised. They must quickly grasp new and complex situations and technologies, and have an appetite for knowledge and self-development. As a technical leader in the company, project engineers are expected to share knowledge, provide technical training to other engineers, and develop technical standards. In addition to technical skills, project engineers must be able to interface with customers, address issues as they arise, and resolve conflict. Successful candidates will have seven (7) plus years of experience with preference shown for those with Water and Waste Water Treatment experience.
Controls Engineers will have quoting, design, drafting, programming, installation, and instrumentation experience. They will design and draft arrangement of conductors, relays, fusing, logic and power systems along with other electrical/electronic devices. Controls Engineers will develop logic systems for functions such as sequencing, timing, level, flow, and proportional control for various plant functional and monitoring systems. Work with assemblers, electricians, and panel fabrication personnel to resolve problems regarding building of controls systems. Reviews schematics with customer to answer questions and provide solutions during installation. Successful candidates will have three (3) plus years of experience
All candidates must not be afraid of hard work and getting dirty when required; must be a quick learner with good interpersonal communication skills and a willingness to work "hands on".

Requirements
A four year degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is preferred; however, the right candidate with an Associates degree and commensurable experience is encouraged to apply.
