Cost Engineer for Power Construction Project

SYSTEM ONE is seeking a Cost Engineer for a major power construction project in Maryland.   This position will include budgets and cost controls, for engineering procurement and construction projects. This position will require the following skills:  Tracking project budgets, change controls, and cost commitments Providing project expenditure costs, forecasts, and variance reports Developing project expenditure and staffing forecasts Interfacing with project scheduling, project accounting, project management, project engineering, shared services (procurement), and construction project administration Engineering, Business, Accounting or related degree preferred.  Related experience as a Cost Engineer will be considered.  The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years project controls or cost experience in fossil, nuclear, or petrochemical plants.  The candidate must be very familiar with Microsoft Office, Primavera P5 and report writing with large scale construction projects.  This is a contract opportunity with Power generation client with System One.   This position is hourly plus Per Diem.  Send resume to George.McSwain@hudson.com    Company: System One Location: Baltimore, MD 21201 Status: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Engineering Relevant Work Experience: 7+ to 10 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education: Certification Company: System One Reference Code:: JO158449
