Deputy Project Manager - Orange We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10+ years experience and is technically proficient in varying aspects of civil and airport engineering. A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) in California are required. The successful candidate will plan, schedule, conduct, and supervise/lead technical teams on several medium to large airport and heavy civil improvement projects. Position involves continuous client contact from the proposal stage to project completion; providing overall project direction to the project technical team; analyzing project financial information, estimates to complete and reporting on the status of the project to others; plans and conducts work requiring high level of judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and modification of unconventional and complex techniques, procedures and criteria. Devises new approaches to problems encountered; accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of design activities; initiates or escalates corrective action on conditions which may adversely affect the completion of the project on schedule and within budget; and, coordinates resources for projects. Experienced with working on airports as well as public works and heavy civil construction projects. Working knowledge of the following software is required: Inroads, Microstation, AutoCad, the Microsoft Office Suite and PrimaVera scheduling package.Must have effective oral and written communication skills, proactive in solving issues and a self-motivator. Effective project management skills are desirable.
