Director of Facilities

In this position you will manage and maintain properties, buildings, equipment and other related assets in proper working order at all times, in a safe, cost efficient manner. You will be in charge of financial/budgetary reports as well as other administrative duties.    Essential FunctionsPhysical Plant Management:a) General repair and maintenanceb) Constructionc) Remodelsd) Start-ups and closurese) Property management related transactions and dutiesSpace Planning:a) Move planning and coordinationb) Maintain current space plansc) Coordinate generation of CAD drawingsAsset management:a) Maintenance equipment, vehicles and furniture specification and procurementb) Oversight of fixed asset assignments and inventoriesc) Asset disposal coordinationStaff coaching and development:a) Direct supervision of subordinate management and staffb) Performance evaluations, discipline, structuring and mentoringc) Staff productivity, skill development and responsibility enhancementFinancial/Budgetarya) Cost center responsibility including budget creation and controlb) Approval of purchase orders and invoicesc) Bid and project cost analysisd) Cost management and expense justification Administrativea) Review and approve payroll and HR related documentsb) Maintain coaching logsc) Monitor and supervise consultants, contractors and vendorsd) Contract negotiation and approval Corporate Securitya) Oversight of security personnel at corporate campusb) Manage security contracts including contracted personnel, alarm services, camera system, etc.c) Create and monitor security budgetd) Organize investigations and special projects Requirements:Ideal Candidates will have a Bachelors Degree and 10-12 years experience in a Facilities environment as a lead. Great Verbal and written skills as well as the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment are a plus.
