Director of Operations

 

BASIC FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Provide strategic leadership to operations.Provide strategic/directional guidance to all business functions (i.e. accounting, HR, business development).Provide input on overall business unit strategy for AKTS.Responsible for P&L for assigned operations.Execute quality projects and business growth for assigned operations.Responsible for supporting & maintaining collaborative relationships within the organization.Fosters and develops personal and group commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.Succession planning – identifies future leaders and plans for their development; builds bench strength for organization.

 

EDUCATION:

 

· Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience in the Engineering, Procurement & Construction business.

 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

· 10 years of high-level leadership in process engineering and construction field preferred.

· Must be able to deal with a fast-pace working environment.

· Must be comfortable with managing change.
