District Sales Representative

  Cooper B-Line, a division of Fortune 500 Cooper Industries, is a highly successful manufacturer of support systems, targeted for the electrical, mechanical & comm/data industries.  We are seeking a Technical Salesperson to work with our Fastener Product line, ideally located in the Maryland/DC area.   This position will be responsible for providing tech support to contractors, end users, & specifying engineers.  A significant focus will be placed on growing sales in coordination with our sales representatives & distribution partners.    The successful candidate must have: BA or BS with emphasis in sales, marketing, or engineering Excellent customer relations skills Strong presentation skills Knowledge of electrical and mechanical construction industries   In addition, preferred candidates would also possess a knowledge of U.S. electrical & bldg codes, industry standards-MSS, NEMA & EIA/TIA.    This home office position requires extensive travel within the Maryland/DC territory primarily, but will be responsible for some business in the Atlanta area.
