Drafter

J. F. Ahern Co. has an excellent opportunity for a Drafter to join our Pipe Fabrication Division in the Fond du Lac, WI office.

 

Responsibilities include the laying out dimension drawings of stainless steel, carbon steel and piping systems; creating isometric and spool drawings; checking drawings for accurate calculations; tagging of spools; and assisting with preparing drawing batches and piping cut sheets.

 

Candidates should have an Associate or Bachelors Degree in mechanical design, civil engineering or related field and/or experience in mechanical piping design, civil engineering, computer aided drafting/design; proficiency in AutoCAD 2002 (or more recent version); and strong math and analytical skills.
