ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN - AUTOMATION CONTROLS ENGINEER

STOP!  Look no further!  The perfect opportunity is staring you in the face!  Mountain Village Gondola connecting the towns of Telluride and Mountain Village in the scenic San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado is seeking a technician to lead our electrical department.  The right candidate will be in charge of the electrical maintenance of a monocable gondola system that transports over 2.5 million passengers per year.  If you have an upbeat personality, a contagiously positive attitude and want to be part of a team, keep on reading. 

 

WE NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN:

  Troubleshoot, repair and program VFD’s from 15hp to 400hp Troubleshoot, repair and program PLC’s – AB 504’s and Control Logix, RS Logix Troubleshoot and maintain DC electric motors Troubleshoot and repair 24 volt control systems and current loops Maintain all aspects of a complex lift electrical system with a mindful eye toward innovation and integration into the future Program HMI’s – RS View, PanelView and PanelBuilder Read, edit, and write electrical schematics Supervise electrical and maintenance staff Wear many hats

Qualifications

  Previous electrical experience with ski lifts a huge + 2 + years supervisory experience 2 + years practical experience in the automation / controls field Formal electrical training Knowledge of the NEC No less than 3 stellar references
