ENGINEERING ASSISTANTIMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY!$14 - $20 per hour Spherion, partnered with a national leader in facility automation, is actively seeking an Engineering Assistant for their Norcross, GA location.  This temp to hire opportunity with a FORTUNE 500 company!  JOB DESCRIPTION: Creates and modifies graphics under guidance of General Engineers, System Engineers and Engineering Specialists. Extracts graphics from existing library database as shown by field engineers. Modifies and changes graphical layouts as described and laid out by engineers. Prepares and modifies AutoCAD floor plan drawings and converts drawings into Micrographx designer. Interfaces with internal / external customers to establish graphic requirements and standards. Coordinates and attends department engineering meetings. Records meeting minutes. Maintains a submittal filing system, the AutoCAD filing system, and the engineering reference library.
