Electrical Apprentice

Electronic Environments Corporation (EEC) provides Infrastructure Management Solutions to 7 x 24 x 365 Information Technology and Telecommunications operations. We provide the industry with integrated “end-to-end” services- from design & construction to on-going maintenance for their critical infrastructure facilities such as Data Centers and Telecommunication Switch Sites.

 

EEC is a 100+ employee, privately owned company based out of Marlborough, MA with regional offices through out the US.  Candidates will work in and around the Northeast Region. Essential Job Duties:

Perform electrical field installation work in commercial and telecommunications environments. Systems will include but will not be limited to AC Power and Controls, DC Power Systems and associated batteries, Emergency Generation, Fire Alarm systems, HVAC and Building Monitoring within critical facility operations such as Network Data Centers and Communication Switch Sites.

 

Apprentice will work directly for assigned licensed electrician / supervisor assisting in the completion of various types of projects.  Limited unsupervised warehouse work will be required. Apprentice will be responsible for performing all work in a timely fashion and to EEC or customer standards. This position will require weekend or night work on an as needed basis.

 

Requirements:

·  Minimum 2 to 3 yr. electrical apprenticeship with education background in Electrical Code with emphasis on commercial/industrial and intent to obtain an E-1 or Journeyman Electrical License.

·  Strong technical skills, installation mechanics and diagnostic capabilities. Candidate must have the interest and aptitude to learn new technologies and systems.

·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·  Extensive daily travel with independent work structure.

·  Basic computer skills
