Electrician - High Voltage Substation

Substation journeymen positions for high voltage substation work and other high technology projects.  This work requires experienced substation workers that have the experience and ability to perform the following tasks in a safe and professional manner as the lead are required.

1) Steel erection & equipment installation in high voltage substations

2) Bus Installation consisting of aluminum bar, angles, and integral web.

3) Install HV Switches consisting of linkage adjustment of large gang operated knife blades

4) Working at heights

The above work must be performed straight, level, and plumb. Quality of work is very important.

This work is hard and is outdoors under the Florida sun. Due to the technical on the job training you will receive, a non compete agreement for the state of Florida is required.

A Technical skills assessment is required. Background checks for honesty, character, and integrity are required. Criminal background checks are required

Work location is West Palm Beach, Florida. Some out of town work is required.
