Our continued success and growth has produced a need for an Electronic Service / PMA Sales Representative position in our Tallahassee, Fl location.  Job Description:Duties include, but are not limited to: Selling Services to assigned customers. Manage the entire sales process, from uncovering opportunity, developing solution/value position, preparing design, creating contract, negotiating terms, closing opportunities, providing on-going customer service through system implementation, and selling any upgrade/add-on opportunities. Work with other sales, technical, design engineering, service, support and management to meet customer needs. Quote and sell all deficiencies for inspections. May conduct other non-selling activities, like project management. The sale of preventative maintenance agreements, as well as fire alarm, sprinkler, security and monitoring inspection sales; contract management and focused effort on retention of existing customer base through up selling and consistent, positive, on-going customer communications; establish prospect lists and qualify potential customers; maintain a positive & supportive work environment; perform other duties as directed and deemed necessary. Qualifications:·  Preferred 3 years sales experience in maintenance, inspection or related field·  Preferred 3 years successful bid/quote experience with fire alarms, security control or similar industry·  Preferred 3 years experience working with construction industry contractors·  Preferred 3 years sales experience in maintenance, inspection or related field·  Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline OR equivalent experience·  Proven track record of sales volume, quotas, and successes, would be an advantage·  Basic PC knowledge & a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook·  Experience in Fire Alarm, Fire Detection, & Fire Protection industry a real plus·  Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, in both oral and written formats·  Good organizational skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize·  Excellent interpersonal skills·  NICET training a plus·  Must have valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements·  Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check  Only applicants that possess the minimum qualifications will be considered.  Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening.  SimplexGrinnell offers excellent compensation and benefits program, including educational assistance, employee stock plan and matching 401K) plan.  For more information on SimplexGrinnell, please review our home page at:  www.simplexgrinnell.com  SimplexGrinnell is an EEO Employer M/F/D/V  Send this Job to a Friend View all "Tyco" jobs Learn more about Tyco
