Engineering Technician, Electrical

Electrical testing company in Atlanta seeks an engineering technician.  Our ideal candidate possess the following attributes/skill set:

Military Electronics Training (U.S. Navy AT, CE, ET, EM, or FC rates or other service equivalent)

Industrial Electrical/Electronics training certification (AS/AAS degree)

Detailed, in depth knowledge of both AC and DC circuit fundamentals. (If you can't explain Ohm's Law, you're not what we're looking for)

Familiarity with electrical distribution devices (switchgear, circuit breakers, fused switches)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficiency in PC use, particularly Microsoft Office

Ability to travel, up to 25% domestically

Clean driving record

Pass criminal background check

Pass pre-employment drug screen and participate in company's random drug screening program


This position will report directly to the Lead Engineer and be responsible for performing a variety of electrical testing functions as well as support functions related to the daily requirements of the engineering department.  The ideal candidate must be comfortable in a dynamic work environment.  This is an excellent position for the right individual, with remarkable growth and professional development opportunities.
