Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer
Dayton Superior Corporation, one of the nation’s leading suppliers to the Construction Industry of construction related materials including concrete and masonry accessories, forming systems, chemical and paving products, is looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer to join our team.
As an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the waste handling activities at our facility and all the safety programs at the plant to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize costs. You will also maintain and oversee the MSDS program for the chemical division.
The successful candidate has environmental waste handling and administrative experience in a chemical environment and a background in improving safety results in a manufacturing environment. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science, preferably in Chemical Engineering. Two to five years experience in successfully acquiring permits and achieving site environmental compliance, implementing Behavior-based safety and health programs in chemical manufacturing and shipping facilities.
