Estimator - Construction/Retail/Commerical

We are ranked #59 in the ENR and projecting over $1 billion revenues for 2007.  Job Description: EMJ Corporation Estimators have the opportunity to work closely with owners, architects, and engineers to provide input into project design, manage the budget and bid phases, and conduct face to face negotiations for all project trades. Estimators also maintain involvement throughout the construction process with jobsite visits while working closely with the project team to control costs.  Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree- preferably in Building Construction Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering. Experience with conceptual estimating for project budgeting & negotiating/writing of subcontracts/purchase orders. Experience with projects ranging from $5 million to $25 million.
