Facilites Assessment Technician (2-3 Months Traveling)

Key Responsibilities

· 2 - 3 month + opportunity.

· Will travel to government facilities in the continental US and perform facility assessments.  This will be 100% travel with a trip home every 3rd weekend.

· Will conduct assessments of commercial, industrial and residential buildings for real estate transactions.

· Will write reports using data collected during field condition assessments.

 

Basic/Required Qualifications

· High School education required.

· Vocational degree relating to construction, construction management, home inspection, etc. a plus.

· Knowledge of the evaluation of buildings for the purpose of real estate transactions.

· Understanding of one or more of the following:  Roofs structures, interior structures, exterior structures, HVAC systems, Electrical systems and/or conveyance systems (elevators, etc.).

· Ability to travel and work out of town.

· Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Facility/building inspection/construction certifications preferred.

· Working knowledge of the construction of commercial, industrial, and/or residential buildings.

 

Physical Demands

· Ability to walk in and around large buildings 10+ hours per day.

· Ability to climb stairs, ladders, etc. in the process of evaluating buildings.
