Our leadership continues to elevate the company to new levels of success. Due to growth Intuit is currently hiring a Facilities Electrician for our Quincy Data Center.
As a Facilities Electrician you will take ownership of the electrical system, develop emergency outage procedures, directly oversees all contract work on site electrical, coordinates all work with the NOC, provide minor installation work in the Data Hall as required with control tech trainee, performs preventive maintenance on the electrical systems, conduct portable IR Scans and cleaning, work with contracts for oil sampling and gas tests, contracts for and coordinate annual FLIR IR scans, and verifies accuracy of EPMS system and performs corrective maintenance as required. They will also take ownership of the generators, monitors weekly run tests, monitor and maintain fuel system, performs minor repairs and contracts and order fuel as needed, monitor the power consumption on PDU and works with Facilities Manager and Site Senior Manager to develop power strategies. The facilities electrician will work closely with and become remote hands of the Primary Control Engineer.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a high school diploma, possess a valid State of Washington General Journeyman Electrical License, a minimum of 10 years experience as a plant electrician, a minimum 3 years medium voltage experience, ability to read and understand blueprints and the ability to troubleshoot. Technical training can be substituted for up to five years of experience.
