Our client company, a major OEM in the field of Automation and Control, is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Chicago, Illinois area. This position requires a degree and experience providing field support and technical service to Distributed Control Systems such as those provided by Siemens, ABB, Honeywell, Invensys, or Yokogawa.

We desire approximately 5 years experience in field service, but quality and technical is more important than years of experience. Must be adept at handling various customer situations and have strong communications skills. Must be a team player and able to include sales and engineering departments in the communications loop as necessary for good account maintenance.
