JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the US Controller, the Financial Accounting Supervisor is a key member of the finance organization. As a professional contributor, the team member has a key role in achieving department objectives by ensuring accurate & timely financial reporting, overseeing the month end close cycle and supporting the US Controller and other managers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Supervise Senior Staff Accountant; mentor other accounting staff. 2. Internal Reporting   - Oversee Monthly Close Process - Manage Hyperion upload reporting process - Prepare Financial Statements - Corporate, SEC, Quarter-end, Year-end, tax and other internal reporting  3. Manage the Interco Debit/Credit process and reconciliation4. Review & analysis of ledgers and accounts including managing the account  reconciliation process.5. Researching and analyzing transactional and general ledger accounting data ensuring all are in accordance with US GAAP.6. Sox representative for finance department 7.   Complete various governmental surveys and reports8. Maintain General Ledger Chart of Accounts Master File.9.   Perform other tasks / projects as requested by the US Controller. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: 1. Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, solid organization and communication skills. 4. Multi-tasking and deadline driven, excel under pressure.5.
