Fire Protection Sales Sacramento

The Fire Protection Specialist covers a multi-state territory with a focus on developing business in a given region for all of the company's engineered products and solutions for the fire protection market and supporting the local distribution network.

 

Qualifications and experience:

 Minimum education - A four year college degree in engineering, business or liberal arts.Two to five years of outside sales experience selling into the fire protection industry is preferred, however calling on the construction industry with specific knowledge or background in one or more of the following industries is acceptable (HVAC, industrial, mining, oil, building products, municipal, or pipe, valve, & fittings industry).Evidence of the ability to interact effectively with contractors, owners, and distributors to build long-term relationships.Strong organizational and communication skills, above average mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base.Willingness to travel 30% - 40%.

 

Compensation will be based on experience and will consist of a competitive base salary, incentive compensation, company automobile, and a comprehensive benefit package.
