Foreman Gas Distribution

The Natural Gas Foreman will be responsible for assisting the supervisor, by leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner.  In addition, the Foreman will be responsible for running one or more crews on a project and maintaining a daily time, material, and production record for job status information. Provide information to the supervisor on a periodic basis as directed. Leads on various size projects reporting to a supervisor Ensures the accuracy of time sheets and expense reports, as directed by the supervisor Develops work-around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc. Monitors quality of work throughout the life of the project as provided by H&M Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards. Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews during their work Assists the supervisor in realizing changes to the scope of work and documenting change orders Reports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of a project as directed by the supervisor or project manager May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance Provides documentation, reports, and information to supervisor or project manager as directed.
Minimum 5 years of gas construction experience in  natural gas distribution field and crew supervision.  OQ qualified a plus, or fulfill the requirement for Operator Qualification upon hiring Must have previous experience working from blueprints, and specifications. High school education or equivalent classes in industry-related courses. Has a thorough working knowledge of natural gas distribution construction and  installation. Willingness to travel a plus.  Must have a valid driver's license
