Full-Time HVAC Installation / Service Technician

Job Description:

ExcellentOpportunity! Stable, fast-paced HVAC Mechanical firm is looking for anexperienced full-time HVAC Installation / Service Technician for their NYC location.

 

Position Requirements:

·          Experience: Five(5) plus years exhibiting a thorough knowledge of the installation, repair andservice of residential and commercial HVAC equipment;

 

·          Through knowledgeof refrigeration cycle and ability to handle refrigerant is critical, universalcharging and recovery certification strongly preferred;

 

·          Ability to read,analyze and interpret wiring schematics, drawings and specifications as well asproduct data;

 

·          Conceptual,analytical and trouble-shooting skills with the ability to troubleshootinstances of system malfunctions, interruptions and failures;

 

·          Excellence indealing with customers to resolve technical, logistical and schedulingproblems; we are problem solvers, not “mechanics”;

 

·          Good communicationskills and professional manner;

 

·          Skilled in brazing,silver solder, phoscopper, soft solder, electrical wiring and troubleshooting,refrigeration unit operation and troubleshooting;

 

·          Basic understandingof boilers, burners and hot water operations;

 

·          Proven ability tosafely operate tools;

 

·          Clean and valid NewYork driver’s license;

 

·          Reliable, always on-time,keeps to schedules;

 

·          Detail orientedwith proven organizational skills;

 

·          Attention to detailand pride in workmanship;

 

·          Self-motivated,proven producer;

 

·          Ability to workboth independently and as part of a team;

 

 

 

PrimaryResponsibilities Include:

Complete installationwork to specifications and company high quality standards;

Complete service callsto meet company high quality standards;

Ensure that adequateplanning methodology is maintained to ensure timely completion of installationwork or service and repair work;

Provide technicalassistance as needed by customers;

Regular communicationswith customers to evaluate and resolve problems.
