JOB DESCRIPTIONDevelop, implement and maintain all risk management and safety operations for multiple companies at various locations. Develop, implement and/or provide ongoing field safety training courses via a university-style credit program and other office-related training courses.Serve as risk-manager to achieve premium reduction through aggressive claims management and specific training.Integral partner with captive insurance program to share best practices and training of group members.Visit job sites on a scheduled and non-scheduled basis to ensure compliance of OSHA and company’s own stringent safety regulations, correct deficiencies, write disciplinary action reports, and examine equipment.Initiate disciplinary action for field personnel in variance with prescribed safety procedures.Investigate and report all work-related accident and injuries.Administer oral drug testsReduce work-related accidents and injuries through reinforced training initiatives.Create and/or revised safety handbook.Communicate with all levels of management to provide timely feedback of field compliance issues, work-related accidents, and other pertinent safety details.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelors degree. Degree in safety a plus. Minimum 5 years experience in safety or related fieldsFamiliarity with OSHA requirementsStrong oral & written skillsStrong training background  requiredAbility to travel – 20-25%
