Position Summary
Functions as a broad-based Human Resource Generalist to serve as a facilitator in change management within a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to adapt and to think creatively in response to the complexity of multiple and diverse challenges. The position consults on a number of HR issues including employee relations, compensation, and performance management. The person will be required to stay current on HR regulations and trends and provide advice and establish corporate policy related to compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to employee benefits, compensation, employment and training.
Main Accountabilities
In addition to following Judlau’s policies and procedures, main accountabilities are as follows:
· Participates in HR planning effort within Project Executives to ensure appropriate support to business objectives.
· Works to provide ongoing development programs and coaching for all Management personnel. Employee and Labor Relations
· Participates in the development, ongoing refinement and implementation of Human Resources policies, procedures and systems for:
· Delivery of management, employee, and organization development programs
· Performance management process and implementation
· Compensation and employee benefits
· Participates in HR team effort to develop and provide ongoing revisions and updates to the employee policies and practices
· Provides understanding and assures compliance with regulations in the following:
· Employment Law
· Fair Labor Standards Act
· Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action
· Depending on the needs of the business and/or department may complete other duties as assigned to advance a particular project or resolve a business issue.
Qualifications
Education/Training
· Four-year Bachelor degree in Business Management or equivalent experience in a related field. PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
Knowledge/Skills
· Computer knowledge and skill, PC preferred. Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint essential.
· Proven ability to learn new computer applications, be accurate in processing both alpha and numeric data, be extremely detail-oriented to audit and review data for input accuracy, draft routine correspondence, to manage confidential Human Resources data in a confidential and professional manner.
· Excellent written and verbal skills and phone manner.
· Flexible in ability to manage a number of projects and task simultaneously while maintaining quality of results.
· Previous work experience in a fast-paced team environment is preferred.
