HVAC/Automation Controls Sales Representative

ESC Automation is a rapidly expanding HVAC, Direct Digital Control installation and Service Company. ESC is currently looking for a qualified dynamic Technical Sales Representative in the Portland, Oregon market.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

Tracking projects through journal of commerce or equivalent publication. Manage your sales activities related to identifying business opportunities.  Explore and build partner relationships and/or enhance business alliances Maintain an awareness of competitor activities within the areas.

  Maintain key account and major project coverage through regular contact with customer representatives. Promote the specification and use of products and systems represented by ESC Automation by developing and maintaining a relationship with building owners, developers, architects, consulting engineers and contractors.  Review specifications and project proposals. Maintain current knowledge of Delta Controls and competitive products with specific reference to key differentiators.  Perform corporate level presentations and low level product demonstrations Assist in generation of proposals. Generate cost estimates and budget pricing.

 

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

Responsible for providing input to the Director Sales and Marketing

  Responsible for performing within the guidelines of the company's policies andprocedures. Responsible for providing input to the Director of Sales and Marketing to establish accurate budgets and forecasts.  This shall include properly forecasting booking volume and margin goals.

 

 

CONTACTS:

  Coordinate regional sales activity working closely with Branch Teams and Corporate Personnel as and when appropriate. Attend sales meetings as scheduled. Provide monthly sales tracking updates to the Director, Sales and Marketing.
