CITY/STATE: Las Vegas, NVPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Building Construction/Skilled TradesEDUCATION LEVEL: CertificationSALARY: 21.00 - 21.00 USD /hour HVAC Technician Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking an HVAC Technician for the Facilities department at Bally Technologies, an international gaming manufacturer, located in Las Vegas Nevada.  This position is responsible for maintenance and proper operation of split system air conditioning units as well as packaged untis and heat pumps.  Performs monthly preventative maintenance on all units and troubleshoots all electrical problems.A qualified candidate will possess the following:  3-5 years previous hands on experience as an HVAC, basic math skills, ability to physically handle the position and job requirements, must be able to read blueprints and schematics, must know the basic cycle of an air conditioning system, pass an HVAC skill test, troubleshooting skills with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and metering devices, properly recover refrigerant, piping techniques and electrical controls.Must be able to pass a hair drug screen and criminal background check.  Must be able to work any hours necessary for project completions (evenings, nights or weekends).  Must have a GED or High School diploma.Degree or certification in HVAC preferred.
