Heavy Equipment Operator

 

Applicant must have a clean record and be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

If Applicant has a Top Secret level clearance immediate employment may be possible. If no Clearance is in hand an investigation may be performed by the Government and may take anywhere from 3 months to 1 year for future employment.
Description:Job Purpose:
Completes assignment by operating and maintaining equipment.

Duties:
* Prepares heavy equipment by conducting operator inspections; performing preventive maintenance checks.

* Prepares work by studying and clarifying instructions and diagrams; calculating requirements; gathering supplies.

* Accomplishes work by operating equipment; observing varying conditions; adjusting equipment controls.

* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

* Keeps heavy equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.

* Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Mechanic

Job Purpose:

Maintains automobile fleet by inspecting vehicles; repairing and replacing parts.



Duties:

* Prepares vehicles by installing modifications; completing inspections



* Completes preventive maintenance program by inspecting and servicing vehicles; conducting performance tests; changing usable components.



* Repairs vehicles by interviewing drivers; diagnosing problem; testing functions using test equipment; repairing or replacing parts using hand tools and equipment.



* Maintains vehicle records by completing forms.



* Maintains safe vehicle operation by passing state inspections; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.



* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.



* Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
