Highway Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Will perform all design functions on small to medium highway projects and segments of larger projects.

·  Will achieve continuity of purpose within scope, budget and schedule.

·  Will represent MACTEC in meetings with clients.

·  Will assist with the preparation of proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure completeness and accuracy of design efforts.

 

Basic/Required Qualifications

·  BS in Civil Engineering

·  8+ years highway design experience.

·  Michigan PE.

·  Proficiency in Microstation and GeoPak.

·  Strong written and verbal skills required.

·  Active management of MDOT projects preferred.

·  Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
