Description

Thalle Construction is looking for an experienced, high level Human Resources Manager/Director who will work directly with the executive board.  The position is ideal for someone who wants to help create and shape a comprehensive and fully integrated human resources department.    This is a newly created position and will oversee and administer all HR functions for a 250 employee civil construction company with projects across the East Cost of the US and plans to expand internationally.

 

Ideal Candidate:

Bachelors Degree

Minimum of 10 years experience in HR

Very strong oral and written communication skills

Has managed an organization with multiple locations or a project based organization

Pragmatic & exhibits exceptional professional judgment

Has experience working with a diverse workforce

Ability to multi task and prioritize without significant direct supervision

Strong computer skills and IT knowledge

Knowledge of Construction Industry Preferred but not required

Bilingual Preferred but not required

References Required

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Training Program for all Employees

Evaluate and improve existing compensation plan.

Recruit Employees at all levels of organization

Facilitate and conduct new employee orientation and testing.

Manage health benefits and COBRA administration

Perform annual cost/benefit analysis of insurance plans, and coordinate annual Open Enrollment meetings

Manage 401(K) plan administration

Evaluate existing review process

Assist managers with annual review process and merit increases

Employment and Compliance to regulatory concerns

Policy development and documentation

Manage Employee Welfare, Wellness and Health

Assist with the management of IT systems
