Human Resources Executive

Multi-state, southeast regional growing company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resource executive to join its senior management team.  This position reports to the President and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that support the company’s growth and development goals for its workforce.  The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree and five to 10 years of experience in human resource management.  Advanced degree, training, or experience in business, industrial construction, organization development, or industrial and organizational psychology preferred.  Experience leading the design and implementation of progressive performance management and employee retention systems, assisting management of cultural change, recruiting and hiring employees desired.  In addition, this individual will:

· Partner with the President and other members of the company’s leadership team in setting strategic direction.  Assesses human resource capacity to implement company strategies, and develops human resource goals and plans that support the company’s established strategic direction.

· Collaborate with the company’s project leaders to effectively and efficiently fulfill the human resource needs of each company project.

· Provide leadership and direction to the Human Resources Department staff, including direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources.

· Maintain stewardship and accountability for overall operational, technological, and fiscal integrity of the Human Resources Department and its initiatives.

· Champion the design, development, and implementation of progressive human resource management systems and processes (including recruiting/hiring, compensation/benefits, and individual performance management and development).

· Oversee company initiatives designed to improve productivity, motivation, and organizational learning and development.

· Oversee company initiatives designed to develop supervisory, management, and leadership skills.
