Data Warehouse Architect / Data Integrator Developer

 

General Duties:

 

AS the Data Warehouse Architect / Data Integrator Developer you will be responsible for translating the tactical and strategic analytical information needs for the enterprise and designing, developing and sustaining the technical architecture of the enterprise data warehouse and data marts. Additional responsibilities include developing, managing, and updating logical and physical data models of the data warehouse, data marts, staging areas, operational data stores and sometimes source systems. You will work with the Decision Support team to evaluate data sources, define business rules, design summary/aggregation structures for performance and ensure integrity and security of data and information usage. Together with the Database Administrators you will accomplish performance audits, provide capacity planning requirements and other data environment optimization technical recommendations as needed.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree / equivalent experience

 

Skills and Abilities:

 Minimum of 5 years of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence and analytics experience.4 years experience with SQL Server, SQL, and Windows OSMinimum 2 years experience with Data Integrator ETL softwareExperience implementing end-to-end data flows, ETL job scheduling, code migration, connection to sources, and all other aspects of developing and running an ETL/data integration operationKnowledge of data profiling and metadata management tools within ETL suites (especially Data Integrator)Ability to design and develop ETL specifications and source to target mappingsStrong relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skillsDemonstrated experience in all facets of Data Warehouse development (Data Modeling, Database Administration, Performance Tuning)Ability to gather data requirements through a variety of techniques (work shops, interviews, etc) and translate into technical solutionsSolid understanding of data retrieval, transformation, and data warehousing architectural approachesStrong conceptual and analytic skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills
