We are currently showing a record work backlog, with several major projects on the horizon.As a result of our continuous growth, we are seeking 2 Schedulers to join our team.  One of these positions will reside in our SW Houston, TX office, and the other position will spend considerable time in Port Arthur, TX.Primary Function: Perform cost and schedule tracking, analysis and reporting for engineering and construction projects.  Duties include estimate analysis, earned value reporting, change management, budget analysis and maintaining project schedules.  Responsibilities:Develops project budgets based on the estimate and the work breakdown structure.Maintains the field progressing database to perform weekly progress and productivity updates.Performs weekly cost updates to analyze expended vs. budgeted costs.Reports weekly project forecasts utilizing material takeoffs and labor productivity.Maintains change management system identifying variances from original scope.Interact with upper management, project management, construction and engineering for weekly report updates.Create and update project schedules utilizing Primavera (P3).Skills/knowledge/qualifications/experience:Entry level position requiring a 4 year degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.  Intermediate MS Excel and Primavera/P3 experience required, SAP preferred. For immediate consideration, please send your current resume and salary expectations via email to hr@tracerindustries.com , or by fax to 713-865-9898, attention Melissa Williams.    Send this Job to a Friend View all "Tyco" jobs Learn more about Tyco
