Inside sales of construction and commercial security officers and eCam/camera product lines from the corporate office. In this position you will prospect for new accounts and coordinate service with local branch offices. This is a fast paced position and requires exemplary customer service skills, outstanding communications skills, and an outgoing personality. This position is located at the corporate office, Gardena, CA. 90248.
Hourly Rate plus commission!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Not limited to)
· Field in-bound calls from toll-free sales and information lines
· Generate “House Account” sales utilizing the existing “House Account” database as well as soliciting new business.
· Tele-market and send literature, generate proposals, and close sales from the corporate office.
· Produce sales leads with Internet research and review of various lead publications.
· Follow-up on jobs which have stopped for future business.
· For potential clients that request meetings, set appointments for the field Account Executives with decision makers. Account Executives will make formal presentations and site survey visits of our products and services. Together, both the Sales Associate and Account Executives will team up and close this business. The commissions on these sales will be split between Sales Associate and Account Executives.
· If an Account Executive already has an active relationship (activity within six months) with a client documented in Goldmine, Inside Sales will not solicit the account.
· Responsible for new lead generation and solicitation in new markets sectors in an effort to expand our client base.
· Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales activity and sales goals.
· Prospect, qualify, close, and service clients to ensure meeting or exceeding sales goals
· Ensure all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
· Build your own territory sales pipeline.
· Manage time and company resources effectively to meet territory sales goals
· Document all sales activities and maintain current database within Goldmine to management
· Maintain industry and product knowledge and inform corporate of changing market conditions and competitive issues
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: (Not limited to)
· Provide complete information for job orders to Customer Service and Schedulers/Installers.
· Attend and participate at all sales meetings
· Return phone calls to internal departments within reasonable time.
· Utilize all sales tools to achieve desired results.
· Capable of adapting and tailoring our product to meet the clients needs.
· At times contacting clients about past due invoices.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
· One to two years of sales, customer service or related experience.
· Experience in construction or security industry a plus.
Experience with Sales Data base, Act, Goldmine, Microsoft Office
PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE:
-Occasional walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
-Regular talking and hearing.
-Attendance is required.
-Hearing sufficient to communicate with team member, clients, and outside resources.
-Should be able to make contact via telephone and communicate with many customers
-Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
--Eyesight sufficient to read, write and operate equipment essential to this position
-Must have manual dexterity to manage telephones and computer equipment simultaneously and with respect to other duties.
-Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
--Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
-Must be able to maintain visual acuity and alertness for long periods of time.
-Must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions described.
-Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation, instruction, persuasion, and/or speaking with others.
