Lead Estimator

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Conceptual Estimator will be responsible for generating and validating conceptual and definitive estimates for heavy industrial and projects globally using Aspen Kbase™. Scope of projects will range from $5 million to $400 million. Conceptual estimates will be based upon preliminary data and will usually be an equipment or capacity base factored estimate. Definitive or appropriations grade estimates will be developed based on material take-off from design documents.

 

This position requires proficiency in detailed economic evaluation for basic and detailed engineering using Aspen Kbase™ (formerly Icarus software).  A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is preferred with 15 years experience in EPC (engineering-procurement-construction) and 10 years Estimating experience. Experience with MC2 is a plus and proficient computer skills a must.
