Lead Service Electricians

An established, well-respected and growing Electrical Contractor located in Rocky Mount, NC has an opportunity for qualified Lead Service Electricians to work from home and to service our client base in Central and Western North and South Carolina. If you have a minimum of eight (8) years verifiable experience as an electrician with a recognized electrical services provider, are a self starter, have a professional attitude and appearance, possess attention to detail, and have the ability to work independently, you may qualify for this opportunity.

 

Essential Duties:

·  Plan and complete all necessary electrical work involved with our commercial retail customers;

·  Log and report any instances of equipment malfunctions, interruptions and failures and take corrective action to ensure safety and reliability;

·  Responsible for installing light fixtures, outlets, lighting contactors, EMT conduit, etc and the use of electronic testing equipment;

·  Will work independently with the responsibility of making sensible decisions with little or no supervision;

·  Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring systems and equipment;

·  Maintain a safe and clean job site, become familiar with job site safety compliance regulations;

·  Represent the company in a professional manner to prospects and clients;

·  Preparation of job tickets and documentation of activities.

 

Essential Job Qualifications:

·  Eight (8) plus years electrical construction and/or maintenance experience;

·  Licensed electricians are desired but not a requirement;

·  Knowledge of and experience with Electric Code and any relevant local codes;

·  Must have your own basic electrical tools;

·  Detailed knowledge of all electrical aspects of troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance;

·  Verifiable use of graphic instructions to include blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts and other visual aids;

·  Clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation within the past year and no more than 3 within the last 3 years;

·  Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
