Oldcastle Materials has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Manager supporting the Liquid Asphalt Group in the Central Division. This position will be based out of Columbus, Ohio and will support locations in MI, OH, WV, and KY. The liquid asphalt group provides commodity grade liquid asphalt to Oldcastle Materials asphalt plants as well as a very small number of external customers.

The Supply Manager is responsible for identifying, negotiating and managing all spot and term liquid asphalt supply agreements and logistics for multiple locations. The Supply Manager will manage the overall liquid supply and distribution program to the maximum benefit of Oldcastle Materials.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Logistics/Supply Chain Management (or the equivalent in experience) along with five plus years experience in purchasing, sourcing and supply chain management. Experience in bulk asphalt, petroleum trading and operations highly desired. Knowledge of hot mix asphalt plant operations, construction and quality control a plus. Position requires up to 50% of overnight travel.
