MEP Coordinator

Jacobs Engineering is presently seeking qualified candidates for the following MEP Coordinator opportunity.Responsibilities:  Responsible in a program management role as support to the Program Manager to provide oversight that construction activities are planned, coordinated and successfully completed to ensure continued safe operations of the existing hospital.Accomplish tasks as identified through jointly developed workplans and established responsibility matrix in concert with the Program Manager.  Level of work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality, efficiency, and accountability.  Provide oversight of site construction functions in accordance with the established policies, protocol, procedures, systems, and requirements.  Major emphasis will be required in the areas of mechanical, electrical, low voltage and plumbing construction disciplines. Monitor schedules, quality, costs, performance, and contract compliance; Function as an extension of the Owner's staff with interface between engineering and construction: Responsible for constructability and construction planning during phases of the project. Majority of contacts are external with continued interaction with the Owner, Owner Contractors and the General Contractor and involve routine construction matters.  Professional written and verbal communications will be one of the most important skills required to provide success to the project.  Requirements: 5-10 years of related experience with 5 years experience at site manager level, BS/MS preferred.  High competency level of computer skills required. Please apply to www.jacobs.com and reference IRC8545
