Maintenance Person

Position Description:

 

Provide general maintenance and upkeep of facility, grounds, and equipment, under direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

 Assists in minor repairs to include: electrical, plumbing, carpentry and paint.Assist in grounds upkeep, janitorial and emergency response clean-ups.Assist in interior and exterior painting of offices and building structure.Perform internal requests as necessary, e.g. move furniture, hang pictures, maintain housekeeping duties as required, etc. Room setup for school events and meetings as requested.



Minimum Requirements:

One year experience or equivalent training in general maintenance including a basic familiarity with electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry. Skilled in using power tools. Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75 lbs, including climbing ladders.Must be available to commit to one Saturday per month for recruitment programs.Valid driver’s license.
