Maintenance Team Leader

California Cereal Products is a major supplier and contract manufacturer of cereal ingredients and ready to eat cereals.  This opening is located in our new plant in Macon. This job is a multi-skilled position which will work with and lead other Technicians.  Applicants must be able to work in a fast paced Team environment.

Requirements: Knowledge and ability to rebuild/overhaul equipment.

Part fabrication. Ability to roubleshoot and repair machinery. Ability to make mechanical and electrical repairs. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic blueprints, drawings and engineering documents.  Fabrication skills. Some electrical skills and willingness to learn.  Positive, "Can Do" attitude.

 

Duties:  Leading other technicians in project work and daily maintenance needs.  Installing new equipment.  Overhauling and repair of existing equipment.  Preventative maintenance.  Other duties as assigned.

 

Other requirements: Good verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.  Ability to work well under time constraints.  Diploma from a Technical College in a related field is a plus.

 

Experience in food manufacturing is preferable.  Physical requirements include manual dexterity, full range of motion with wrists and arms, ability to squat, bend, climb and lift up to 50 lbs.
