Manager, Operations

Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Aggregate Plant Manager will be responsible for the operations of the aggregate plants in the PORTLAND/VANCOUVER REGION. Position reports to Aggregate Division Manager. Responsibilities include all aspects of managing a quarry site including; Scheduling of daily operations and maintenance of mobile and stationary equipment for both plant and quarry, responsible for adherence to all health, safety and environmental policies and regulations. Will assist in creating annual budget and will be responsible for keeping the plant on target both financially and operationally. Responsible for product quality and maintaining community relations.   Will manage plant support employees, and be site contact for community relations. Qualified person should have minimum 5 yrs quarry or mining experience with 2yrs as a Plant Manager.  Engineering or business degree preferred or equivalent years experience. Must have strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple functions.  Excellent communication skills.
